No one had seen the mom for a few days. We took them because the weather that night was going to be in the thirties. We're still waiting for the mom to come back but she hasn't returned.

They're wayyy to young to break skin, so I think it's fine for now.

I have one other cat, but now that I've had the kittens I really want to keep two. Crazy cat lady transformation, begin!

No. I think I'm going to keep the little boy. One of the girls has been claimed by someone I work with. That leaves just one. I'm sure someone will want her.

Anyone see Book of Mormon? How "family friendly" is it? by Clayburnin nyc

[–]isisis 0 points1 point ago

I saw it with my boyfriend, his mom, and his aunt. The two ladies grew up in a religious household, and he and I were dying laughing at how funny it was but were also very nervous that his mom and aunt might be offended. When we looked over, they were laughing just as hard as we were.

What's the weirdest/scariest/most intense thing you've woken up to in the middle of the night. by crazyspacechickin AskReddit

My parents used to own a large sail boat that we lived on during the summers. We would take trips that often had us under-sail for 24+ hours, so we would work in shifts of a few hours while the others would get some shut-eye. One night we are on our way from the Bahamas to Florida, and we have been sailing all day. It's my turn to sleep and I'm passed out on the couch, which is right in the middle of the boat. Suddenly I'm woken by something, my heart racing as I leap off the couch. My mom is running past me (she was also sleeping) and runs up on deck. I can hear my dad screaming and I have absolutely no idea what is happening, but I'm immediately in action mode. I run upstairs, and it takes me a few seconds to realize what has happened.

The main mast has quite literally snapped in half, with all the sails out, and had come crashing down onto the side of the boat (right next to where I was sleeping.) It is 12:30 AM, we are exhausted from the trip and no one really knows what to do. We have brand new sails (3 of which are attached to the main mast) and we have to get wire cutters to cut them loose so we can continue moving under motor power. We sold the boat as soon as we got to Florida.

Daughters of Reddit! I'm a new Dad. What's your single best piece of "fathering" advice? by prosskin AskReddit

You're probably going to want to control what she does to keep her safe, and you will most likely be the "bad guy" when it comes to disputes. Just remember that the harder you push her, the harder she will push in the opposite direction. Your good intentions might drive her to behave the way you are trying so desperately to avoid.

What is your most useless skill? by mnelawarin AskReddit

This'll definitely get buried, but I know loads of useless music trivia.

I found newborn kittens living in an alley. What's the best course of action? by isisisin AskReddit

[–]isisis[S] 0 points1 point ago

I don't live in a big city so I'm a little worried. I might call Animal Control and ask them "hypothetically" what they would do to help me without taking the animals.

I recently got this removed from my head. by isisisin popping

The birthmark I totally dig. The growth only took a month and a half to get that big.

I've had the birthmark all my life. The specific hemangioma grew from nothing to that over the course of a month and a half. I am 25. Those are painted fingernails. (I'm a girl?)

Unfortunately it was in the middle of a highly veinous birth mark, so using something like a belt sander would have resulted in too much bleeding. It had to be cauterized.

No popping. They cut it off and cauterized it.

Hemangioma. It's in the middle of a huge birthmark, essentially a collection of blood vessels and tissues. Not poppable, though it often broke and bled heavily.

Got it cut off by a 'professional' so no video allowed. It looked like a tiny brain in a small jar of formaline when it was all done.

Summarize something (a book/movie/TV series) that you really like, making it sound as uninteresting as possible, and we'll try to guess what it is. by LeonardoFibonacciin AskReddit

Wow. Now that I see the answers it's so obvious. But it very well could have been:

  1. The Hunger Games
  2. Garden State
  3. The Patriot

Bruce Wayne turned his fear of bats into his superhero name. Due to your fear, what would your name be? by pcgamertempin AskReddit

[–]isisis 0 points1 point ago

I have this too, but it's more specifically a fear/feeling that I get when playing with a big round thing and then a very small round thing. It's something about the change in size. Just thinking about it makes me feel like I have a terrible fever or something.

I cant stand it when people crunch on ice! Reddit, what unique thing gives your body the 'chills'? by govdogin AskReddit

[–]isisis 0 points1 point ago

Also this isn't a thing that gives me chills per se, but I sometimes get a weird tickle in my throat that is very specific in feeling. I only get it while eating pineapple, or when a puppy licks my face.
