Left or right doesn't change the timing of the legs. I've flown plenty of holds but I've never been given an odd time. And the majority of the time it is "as published".

Holding patterns have 1 minute legs and 1 minute turns on each end (standard rate, 2 minutes for a full 360). You could have timed the 1 minute inbound, 1 minute turning outbound, 1 minute outbound, 1 minute turning back inbound, etc. That would be a sure sign he was holding and not doing something else.

The inbound and outbound legs would be 1.5 minutes if he is above 14,000'.

Your biggest concern is the hours? My biggest concern would be the poverty. Anyone considering a career in aviation must read:

As a Christian man, I am a little nervous about posting here, but I have a question. by Gueroswagin atheism

[–]iheartrms 0 points1 point ago

As demonstrated in North Carolina in the US recently, theists vote. That is a way for forcing their views on others. I'm not saying they shouldn't be able to vote. I am saying they should not be theists. That makes me anti-theist too.

Religion is the problem. Mostly because it is made up non-falsifiable bullshit.

BTW: It wasn't Adam who didn't listen when God told him not to eat from the tree of knowledge. It was Eve. She then fed Adam fruit from the tree without his knowledge. He was punished anyway.

Just goes to show...if you want to know something about the Bible, ask an atheist.

Soon we'll be able to make our own (or more likely have someone else make/integrate and buy) hardware tokens based on one of the many USB stick sized computers. The Raspberry Pi could almost work for this but it is already slightly too big and by the time a screen was added even more so.

Well since the GOP has decided that Jeremiah Wright had so much influence as a simple pastor, I think that some quotes from Brigham Young; a PROPHET (as recognized in mormonism), are entirely topical. by MikkyfinNin politics

[–]iheartrms 0 points1 point ago

I would criticize him for that if I really thought he believed in that stuff. I think he plays along because it is the only way to get elected. I do think Romney believes in that stuff because if he had to pick a cult to believe in to get elected it would make sense to pick the most popular one, not one widely viewed with suspicion.
