Reddit, if you were in a Home Depot Battle Royal, what 3 weapons would you choose? by OpticWazowskiin AskReddit

[–]iglidante 0 points1 point ago

I'd just grab an axe and go hide somewhere until everyone else died.

Why can't an atm dispense a check drawn on your account instead of cash? by sexymalcontentin AskReddit

[–]iglidante 0 points1 point ago

Because although it's possible with modern technology, people who write a lot of checks usually carry their checkbook with them. I know I sometimes forget and wish I'd brought it, but that's not an eventuality worth re-launching the nation's ATMs over.

Reddit, can you be denied purchasing alcohol because you're with a minor? by et3_sweetsin AskReddit

[–]iglidante 2 points3 points ago

Absolutely. It happens all the time. That way they can't be accused of selling it to you so you can give it to the minor.

Reddit, what is a candy that you can't believe anyone actually likes? by VioletBeauregardin AskReddit

[–]iglidante 1 point2 points ago

I fucking love circus peanuts. The texture and taste are amazing.

The human body is not just a sexual thing.

TIL that the mascot of Esurance, Erin Esurance, was axed because of Rule34. by Accipehocin todayilearned

[–]iglidante -1 points0 points ago

People aren't imagining cartoons as human beings. They're aroused by the artwork itself. It's been a pretty common response to art for as long as humans have been creating it.

What is a basic skill of yours that is getting worse as you get older? by whybeonein AskReddit

I can't pull an all-nighter to save my life, now.

Are there any special tricks for getting pull strings to go through sweat pants waistbands? by newindividualistin AskReddit

[–]iglidante 0 points1 point ago

You pinch-pull the tip little by little around the band until it gets to the other side.

What gender stereotype(s) do you hate the most? by sexiibitchin AskReddit

[–]iglidante 0 points1 point ago

That's exactly what I was saying. I just think it's important to note that most people aren't telling girls "suck it up and ask", because they don't need to. Not unless the girl really wants a guy who is shy.

The hospital I work at just started a new non smoking policy. No smoking within 1/2 mile of property. Is this legal? by ImAgressivelyPassivein AskReddit

[–]iglidante 1 point2 points ago

If there are homes or public places within that half mile radius, I'd say it's illegal.

What gender stereotype(s) do you hate the most? by sexiibitchin AskReddit

[–]iglidante 0 points1 point ago

Sure - only that isn't really the case. If a girl won't, the guy probably will (because that's how we've been trained to behave). If the girl and the guy won't, it's not going to happen. If the guy won't but the girl will (which is less likely), things might still happen.

Sex bomb by ancientpyramidsin WTF

It's just a semi-naked woman. Nothing scarring.

What gender stereotype(s) do you hate the most? by sexiibitchin AskReddit

[–]iglidante 1 point2 points ago

This drives me crazy. One of the ways we let other people know we care about them is by reaching out to them. If one person always does the reaching, it starts to feel like the other doesn't care.

What gender stereotype(s) do you hate the most? by sexiibitchin AskReddit

[–]iglidante 0 points1 point ago

People of both genders reinforce the stereotypes that hold them down because they are so used to them the alternative feels wrong.

What gender stereotype(s) do you hate the most? by sexiibitchin AskReddit

Honestly, I find topless people of either gender in public to be odd. Only the wannabe thugs walk around without shirts in my area (Maine).

I feel like slut-shaming has created a culture of women who are ashamed to have a sex-drive, are not attuned to what they want physically/psychologically, and try to pretend they aren't interested so that it always feels like they're giving in to the man's desire, rather than actually wanting it themselves.

As a man, I like paying sometimes. Who doesn't like to treat someone important to them? But other times, it's nice to go dutch, or be treated by someone else.

I think guys should feel no shame in wearing tinted moisturizer or whatever to cover up blemishes and whatnot. That's what it's for.

I have honestly never seen women play (American) football.

What gender stereotype(s) do you hate the most? by sexiibitchin AskReddit

[–]iglidante 5 points6 points ago

Isn't that what a lot of girls do currently, though? It's no less understandable coming from one gender than the other. People are insecure and afraid.

EDIT: The guy is waiting for a girl to make the first move because he's afraid to do so himself. Girls are often afraid to make the first move, but don't have to, because they know they can wait and a guy will initiate contact. Both genders are equally capable of being afraid of rejection, but women are more likely to get attention without initiating.

You have the power to play one song to the entire world - What is it? by ShiningDeltain AskReddit

[–]iglidante 1 point2 points ago

I'd be completely selfish and play one of my own songs, hoping people would like it.

When my dog gets excited she snorts. What does your pet do that you find adorable? by kitkaitkatin AskReddit

[–]iglidante 2 points3 points ago

When my cat purrs, he sometimes chirps along with the purr. It's difficult to describe, but completely adorable.

Do you consider it lying when a person unintentionally leaves something out? by rufasa93in AskReddit

[–]iglidante 0 points1 point ago

you say yes. you dont say not on you,

The trouble there is that you really need to tailor your remarks to how a person will take them. If the woman just wants to be reassured she isn't ugly, and you know she'll be upset if you say you don't care for the dress on her (but she likes it), does it really need to be said?

If guys love seeing boobs, then do girls love seeing penis? by pankratov2in AskReddit

[–]iglidante 0 points1 point ago

I would imagine some girls do, and others do not - much in the same way that some guys like the appearance of a vagina, and others consider themselves straight but are repulsed by it.

The human body is not just a sexual thing.

The human body is not necessarily always a sexual stimulus, but it's the chief sexual stimulus in most situations.
