Not afraid, I just dont think that it makes a difference here, but making a post with just "age?" Is rude and shows that you seem to only care about one shallow trait. I know 13 year olds that are great and 27 year olds that are douches. People can play with me and if they dont like me they can leave.

I had to click. There is no reason to have a picture of ascii. The thing about titles is, when you press buttons you make ascii. The only reason to make a picture of text is karma.

What reason is there to put text in an image, instead of just typing the text?

The site is about information and discussion.

If you want to talk about karma, originally you could only post once every 24 hours, and to post more you needed to have a lot of karma. This was to make it so people that were insightful or content creators had more of an impact on the front page.

However, this meant karma had value, so mundane posts such as "DAE like cats" were being made to farm karma, and the frontpage was filled with it.

This is the reason that self posts had karma removed.

Then the same kind of thing happened with image posts, which is why they removed the whole karma-post limit interaction.

Originally the site was about information and discussion, with karma as a means to achieve this. However, the karma system was broken and removed. Karma now is just an artifact of the old reddit, and the site is not about karma in any way. If it was self posts would still give karma.

  • The title should have been "I like that boardgames dont have DRM, unlike video games"

  • You wasted sevaral people's time by having to open the image

  • This cannot make a good conversation besides derailing the subreddit to a debate about video game DRM

  • The only reason this was made is to get karma, not to inform or start a discussion
