The point of using a mic remains the way the recording sounds when played back.

If you base how you think the recording sounds on whether or not your mic is genuine then your not being objective about what your doing.

There is something to the speed at which you can write the code. I don't have to experience to say that doing it with C# is faster to code that the previous C version. If it is then is that not worth some amount of efficiency?
