Even within BC2 there are slight control differences between the single player and multiplayer UAVs. I believe you can press up on the D-pad to zoom in, while in multiplayer it is the RB if enabled.

There's an achievement on the 360 for collecting the tags of 5 friends. So I went through my list and friended all the people I have tags for that I play with on a semi-regular basis.

I like the M60 with the ACOG 4x rifle scope, and I fire one bullet at a time like a T88 sniper rifle. A T88 sniper rifle with a belt of 100 rounds. Rapidly tapping the fire button creates less kick, and is great for 'sniping' with the M60. At close ranges I just shoot from the hip if the mobility is too low while looking through the ACOG.

If you spot them, try aiming for the orange triangle above their head. And use the M24, not the T88. T88 is great for close range marksmen type shooting, not long range one-shot kills, as even a headshot is survivable from a T88. Try the T88 with red dot.

I don't know about not being able to get kills with it. I have logged nearly 100 UAV kills so far, and I'd bet more than half are from the alt fire machine gun.

I love the Recon class. Motion spot mines, long range headshots, close range semiauto rifle kills. The auto-spot scope addon is my favorite trick. I play on the 360, so trying to hit the back button while running and aiming is tricky. Now I don't have to!

I also play assault a lot, because none of my friends do. Resupply Op Pins FTW.

The Recon semiautomatic rifles are underestimated. You can't get one-shot kills, so the 'snipers' never take them, but at medium ranges they are great marksmen rifles. I love the SVU Sniperskaya Short with a red dot sight. Toss out your motion spot assist mines and track down those orange triangles for some close range kills. 2-3 hits is a kill!

I've never understood this. Drop ammo all the time. Free points! Want to farm points as an assault, just run around to all your stupid Recons and fill them up with ammo. Heheh.

The PKM and T88 LMGs are great too. I just started "seriously" playing the Medic last night. I now have 75 kills with the T88, the most kills I have with any one gun! I was going 5:1 KDR all night long.

Being aggressive as a medic is great. Run to the front lines, and drop a med kit behind some cover. Now start making a nuisance out of yourself! Burst fire for longer range kills, and open up on groups of enemies. And always aim around the sternum. It'll kick up and give you a lot of head shots. You'll take some fire, but guess what? You just healed yourself. Hopefully your squad will spawn on you as well for some high pressure action.

Oh and don't defib immediately if someone dies if you aren't sure who killed them. One, your friend will likely just die again. Two, they might kill you! Clear the hostiles first (unless you're pretty sure they got sniped from long range). Even if they do die again tho, its just more points for you. ;)

I hate to down vote your comment, but your attitude is totally off base. This is what metatags are for. Go through the list once and spam invites to everyone online. If its someone you like send them two. ;) This is why metatags exist, and if people did not want invites, they would not ask to be on them.

Also Gamechat is OK, but using a party chat has its advantages. Since the EA servers are shit, keeping in a party lets people rejoin games easier. And while the game is all about squads, having 8 people working together in game is amazing. The downside is trying to get everyone on the same team. And typically once my friends and I are all on the same team, we hit them so hard they rage quit, and we have to start over. Heh.

Last night 8 of us goons from SA were partied up on Xbox Live. 6 of us were medics. We were on D, so any time a sniper got a headshot, their target would get a defib. LOL so many points.

When you do unlock it, it is RB. RB is also used for zoom if you have the enhanced optics.
