Vote for Movie of The Week #99! Voting ends Friday, October 7, 5pm EST by giantsfan134in movieclub

A surprisingly obscure movie. I show it to everyone I can, and they all seem to love it. Despite having been movie of the week already, I highly recommend anyone watch it if they haven't yet seen it. Similar to Big Fish in the sense that it revolves around story telling, but it is very much its own movie. The visuals are amazing, and likewise the acting of the child is phenomenal.

Mine has always been pretty consistently INTP (i.e. I've taken the test every 2-3 years for the last 10 years and it always comes out that way).

Ok, after the Kubrick madness that was week 50, my suggestion here is that we go with 7 genres, and we screen 1 film per genre (i.e. 1 film per night, each of a different genre for the 100th week).

It's pronounced FrankenSTEEN!

Ahh, fond memories of this film. I'll be watching it again this weekend for sure.

You're absolutely right. This is a subreddit that relies on its users more than most, so I hope that more people will start commenting on films again (myself included), but I also understand that it can be difficult.

However, I plead to you all that no matter what you have to say about the film, no matter how inane or obvious or trivial you might think it is, please go ahead and share. Comments don't all need to be full professional film reviews, and since most of us aren't professional film reviewers I don't think anyone expects them to be.

Just remember, discussion of any sort always spurs more discussion.

They are allowed in the discussion threads, of course, but I was wondering whether people wanted to use spoiler tags there so that people who haven't seen the movie yet could go in and read the more general discussion about whether people liked the film, cinematography, etc. I'm neutral on the issue, so I wanted to hear your thoughts.

But does it work for you when you are viewing from within the subreddit? I don't think I can do anything about how it shows when you are viewing from the front page, since I have no control over the css outside of here. All I can do is avoid putting spoilers in the text of posts, which I will do.

To be fair, you've probably already bought the game by the time you see that screen.

But that still doesn't matter, because he wasn't talking about floors, he was talking about stories. The first story is the ground/1st floor, regardless of your culture.

I will say that you own the PS3 once you buy it, at the very least. In what way are you renting it? You could argue that for Playstation Plus, but you own your PS3 once you buy it. That is mostly what I'm talking towards.

There's a lot of hate towards Sony, but really, WTF did they do that is so unprecedented? Lots of companies have clauses like the ones they've added, and lots of companies fuck up and lose customer information like they did a few months ago. Honestly, my guess is that most of you probably don't even own PS3s and are just hating for the sake of it.
