The Good Night - An original Acoustic song by franz_Smithin Songwriters

[–]franz_Smith[S] 0 points1 point ago

Thank you so much. You've honestly made my day. I'd love to get an actual band to accompany, and add to, the song, but I'm having a hard time. I keep putting off making these songs with actual software, but I feel that it's time. Thank you again though.

No apologies needed! The reason I post the songs here are so I can get some feedback. I honestly appreciate you even taking the time to listen to the song.

I feel the same. It was more of one of those songs that come from just playing a few chords, which I'm sure you realized it's only three, and I came up with the lyrics while playing it.

And sorry about the filter. I just got a new laptop, and I'm not used to all the options they give you.

But thank you for the comment.

I understand that. I don't have much control over my voice, so it's easier for me to sing in that way, but I have been working on moving away from the 80's, in a vocal sense :P, but thanks for the comment.

I'm sure my friend's already seen this, but I had to send the picture to her anyway. Best way to start the day.

I bought this movie the day it came out. I then preceded to watch it many many times, with all the commentaries, until I could no longer stand it. Awesome movie though, and I discovered a ton of new bands because of it.

The best CD I ever got for free.

I listen to Newermind at least once a week.

Radiohead - Little by Little (From the Basement) by Sixtomidnighterin Music

[–]franz_Smith 1 point2 points ago

Did you hear SuperCollider/The Butcher? They were part of the King of Limbs recording session, but they didn't add them to the CD for some reason.

The Butcher's pretty good, but yeah, it wasn't as good as I was hoping after In Rainbows.

Awesome cover. Plus, who doesn't love The Smiths?

Radiohead - Little by Little (From the Basement) by Sixtomidnighterin Music

I love the From the Basement sessions. I thought the King of Limbs' one was especially interesting since a lot of the songs on the album, not that there were many to pick from, used a good deal of electronics, though nowhere near Kid A/Amnesiac.

Feral's really interesting/awesome if you haven't seen that version.

That's the reason our managers told us to just ask if the baguette's alright for the side, and if they say no, then offer the chips, apple, baked chips, whole grain baguette.....

My least favorite part of the job was when I had to open up bakery. You always got some of the really rude people that needed their bagel pack put together the most specific way, with a huge line, with only me on register, and with my manager awol.

Glad I quit.

Interesting take on it. Much more emotional than the original.

This is my friend and she is a bit shy but she let me post it. Enjoy and tell me what you think. by erichg313in AcousticOriginals

It's awesome. One of the best things about the internet it seems, all us shy people can share things we do.

Keep it up!
