No, and I understand your point greatly. Just stating my opinion with an article to show you the other side of the German story. I am not a fan that goes to every game as I am from the states. I was born/am a jew, if that means anything. You have a perfectly reasonable assumption that there are some fans and jews who would not want a German team (albeit short-sighted) to win.
