Sure, but that doesn't change that it was still morally wrong back then and the morally right thing to do would've been to speak out against it. I wasn't trying to start a debate, I just felt I had to comment on that part of your post.

For us this was an acceptable and very successful moral code since it has allowed us to spread our genes very widely, and hence is superior to all other moral codes.

Since when is the superioty of a moral code determined by how succesfully the adherents to it can spread their genes?

Being tolerant and accepting of other people's moral beliefs- and especially where those beliefs originate from -is the best way for society to progress morally.

Nonsense. For example, as you said, slavery is wrong. There is no good reason why I should tolerate and accept morals that disagree with that.

It's still supposed be acting. Doing a "scummy" porn doesn't mean the other actors are justified in berating her in real life. Furthermore, the video talked about a lot of other things as well, e.g. STD's and a lack of control. It's most certainly about labor rights.

I'm not saying I would prefer it too remain small, there's been an influx of original material as well, and I generally don't care about reposts. I was just remarking that it sucks to have been used to using this subreddit in a certain way, which has now changed.

Still, this has been a pretty small, tight-knit subreddit for a while, where you could check each posted video and not expect a repost because subscribers here know the content, and now those people have to wade through hundreds of submissions they've already seen. Newcomers can easily just browse through the existing content.

Hah, same here, and I submitted the video from /r/videos here yesterday, thinking it would maybe get 100 upvotes like most videos do in here, and then I wake up today, the subreddit has increased with 9,000 subscribers and the video is the most popular thing I've ever submitted. And now I feel bad it's a repost. :(

I submitted it to this subreddit on my own accord, I've been subscribed to it for a couple of months. Check the submission time (hover over "x hours ago"), here it says 23:15:01 and the post suggesting OP submits it to r/justiceporn was posted at 23:15:52.
