I really was just asking for clarification. I'm fully aware that Jewish families invite the less fortunate to dinners and Seders- and I know from the people in my life who are Jewish (and just from common sense, I guess) that the "Jews only care about money" stereotype is hurtful and untrue. I just had never heard of this card concept, despite having mostly Jewish friends and living in an area with a high Jewish population.

I was hoping that someone would respond directly to my comment to clarify for others who might have been confused, but since no one has, I'll edit it myself and include what you and another Redditor have told me.

I know it's silly to place a lot of value on interactions with Internet strangers, but your message shook me a little bit because I've had to defend my Jewish friends and partners to my anti-Semitic extended family, including my Catholic grandfather who says things like "A Jew will spit on you when you're bleeding on the ground". So, to have someone think that I'm in that category of anti-Semite even for a minute bothers me. I hope that you accept my apology.
