Any Reddit Heart Attack Survivors? by chestneyin pics

[–]fallingtopieces 0 points1 point ago

Thanks a ton for that. I realised I also might be having a bit of cardiophobia! The doctor did mention to me that heart attacks can even happen to a healthy person so I guess its best if try to live a normal life.

First of all its the dailymail and I think everyone is ALREADY sick and tired of non-stories about RvP.

Arsenal release seven players including Manuel Almunia by 9jack9in Gunners

How I wish one of those clean sheets had been in the CL final in 06 . The shots he let in at his near post are the strongest memories I have of Almunia...

Ah man, I've had 2 complete cardiac tests carried out mainly because I'm a hypochondriac. Both came out completely normal but yet.. I still worry :(

Okay dunno if this is appropriate but let me ask you for some advice:

I've had no cardiac issues but I used to have high blood pressure so I have had two complete heart checkups (ecg, treadmill, ekg) mainly due to my hypochondria.

Both tests done at a gap of 6 months didn't show any signs of cardiac problems according to the cardiologist.

I do very occasionally experience very minor chest pain - eg. like someone is lightly pinching my chest is how i describe it but the doctor says that is no cause for worry. I know this is not much information to go on but would you agree with my cardiologist?

Used to be a heavyish smoker (10~12 cigs a day) but cut down to about 5 a day.im 32 male. I also had light acid reflux which has been successfully treated with meds.

I used to have acid reflux and it ruined a holiday for me because at that point i didnt know it was acid reflux and i always felt like i was going to have a heart attack.

Anyway i went for a complete heart checkup, everything was fine, i still get occasional very minor chest pain but the doctor says its fine. I did take meds for the reflux. Mind you Acid reflux CAN lead to other health problems so do not ignore it.

After my anxiety regarding cardiac issues I cut down smoking from 15 cigs a day to around 4. Am slowly cutting down because it is a bitch to quit cold turkey.

I'm 32.

Addendum to number 3: the book is better than the movie and you will get a better idea of what it was like to support Arsenal in the 70s and 80s. We were not that different from the Stokes and Boltons of today and in a way it also makes you appreciate what Arsene Wenger has done for this club.

The only person I was happy for in the Chelsea team last Saturday night was Drogba. He will be missed.

You could try Sidney Pollack's The Yakuza . I watched it once about 10 years ago and now I need to watch it again.

Also Takeshi Mike has made some Yakuza films so you could check that out too.

Yann M'Vila set to sign for Arsenal by arsenal_peterin Gunners

[–]fallingtopieces 0 points1 point ago

I checked OPs submission history and he had correctly announced the arrivals of Podolski and Eisfield. He made a submission on 3rd March saying that Podolski will come to Arsenal long before we were 100% certain that the news was true. Of course this might not mean anything at all. :P

Am I becoming cynical, or is it getting harder to believe a lot of these submission titles lately? by brumbrum21in AskReddit

I really hate the "if aliens were to invade earth a hundred fucking million gazillion years from now which album would you have them listen to?" type of questions.
