Reddit, what are some video games (of any genre/style) that you wish existed? by everyoneisawesomein AskReddit

[–]entersoundman 0 points1 point ago

I'd like a superpowery game that actually worked and felt satisfying. You start off. You're sat in your bedroom reading. Your hands feel funny...and blammo, you suddenly find you have powers. It's a sort of Fallouty open world vibe, but with powers that slowly evolve. You meet others with a similar deal, some are good, some are evil.

Or, I'd like an Agents of Shield films - but I want Kathryn Bigelow to give it a shot. She can get the best out of Renner and I think it'd work well.

Does anybody here avoid watching trailers for movies you know you're going to see? by im_so_metain movies

Not normally, but I have started to: I'm not watching anything Anchorman 2, as I want the whole thing to be fresh when I go and see it.

If you want to buy/play an older game for the multiplayer part, how can you be sure that it's still populated? by Vicinusin patientgamers

It always amazes me when a game comes out for free on PSN store, and yet no-body is playing it. I recently downloaded Awesomenauts, as it was free, waited a few days, and there were about three people online. The game was free and yet noone plays it?

Edit: Thankyou Khedoros

I think he'd be an okay Ant-Man. I think he'd be a bloody brilliant Doctor Strange.

See, I think saying the name of the game is also pretty bad. I'd rather just not hover a spoiler, than see that someone dies at the end of a game I haven't played yet.

What TV series had a good ending? by ThisIsNotTokyoin AskReddit

Definitely - the only TV show in a while where they appreciated the length of the concept and planned accordingly, rather than driving it into the ground.

"I have had it with these mother fucking snakes on this mother fucking plane!" - Beautiful.

On a more serious note, probably "Because, when it comes to the subject of me, I believe you are truly and utterly incapable of telling the truth, especially to me, and least of all, to yourself. And, when it comes to the subject of me, I am truly and utterly incapable of believing anything you say." From Kill Bill.

Reddit, what is the artist/band you must see live before you die? And any that you have already seen but will definitely see again at any time, if possible? by redmagicwomanin AskReddit

[–]entersoundman 1 point2 points ago

Muse. Everything about the show is top notch - the music, the lighting, the atmosphere. I know of people who hated Muse, saw them live, and completely changed their perspective.

What is the most useful tattoo you can think of? by thepandorasin AskReddit

Curious - how does the procedure for this work? I only ask as like - your eyelids are pretty speedy and know to close when say a fly approaches - how can they stay open for long enough to allow a man with a needle and such in and about?

What is the worst social fuck up you've ever done/had/been in? by Youowemeasodain AskReddit

In secondary school, my friend broke her leg. So, as a way of getting out of lessons earlier, myself and a chum would volunteer to go and get the lift key from downstairs ( she needed to use the lift). Fast forward five minutes, we're all stood in the lift, when a nice chap in a wheelchair gets in with his carer. My friend comments on how you couldn't fit eight people in the lift ( as advised on a lift-poster). Without thinking, I reply "no I think you could fit 8 normal people in as they'd all be standing". The wheelchair man stared at me. I said "I mean like, 8 people who would be standing, 8 normal people not sat down". He continued to angrily stare... The lift descended and I felt dead inside.

Is it morally permissible to kill one person for the good of the many? by j1o2s3e4p5h6williamsin Debate

[–]entersoundman 1 point2 points ago

Honestly, I think most people would save their family and friends. We all like to pretend that we'd kill the 3 to save 15, but in that situation it wouldn't happen. Especially as killing your family would take an extra movement - pulling the lever. I know I couldn't pull that lever.
