Yep, I've already applied. I got into 2 Caribbean schools already, and I have interviews lined up at 2 DO programs and 2 MD programs in the US in the next four weeks so it is a bit late in the season. Though I think I want to do general peds right now, I don't want to limit myself in case I really like a sub-specialty during electives.

To play devil's advocate... residency might only be three years while most practicing physicians primarily see patients for a lot longer than that.
