Its really not so much the force behind the shot as much as the placement that breaks the glass. You could have a machine hurling pucks at the glass one after the other at 140mph all day and not break it, but a weak 60mph shot hitting a weak point could shatter the hell out of it.

Still, its really cool to see, and you feel like a fucking mutant when you do break it.

Even with the augs maxed out so you have no recoil effect, the heavy rifle isnt worth dick. by the time the barrel is spinning and it starts firing, you've already been shot 3-4 times.

I've been playing using just the 10mm pistol with capacity/lasersight/silencer mods (still works for ranged 1hit kill headshots on unarmored guards), a stock shotgun (for the armored guys), explosives, and gas grenades.

I've got the game for both ps3 and PC, and I'm enjoying it far more on my pc, which is only a dual core e2500 with 4gb ram and a nvidia 250gt. you should be able to run it fine.

I didn't have the preorder bonus. You can buy a sniper rifle from one of the weapons vendors in china, then a silencer weapon mod from another vendor in china, and make your own silenced sniper rifle.

I beat barret on the hardest setting fairly easy. he fucked me up really quick first attempt, so on the second round I immediately ducked behind the little barrier in front of me when the fight starts and chucked a nade at him, then used my 3 remote explosives. plant behind pillar, wait for him to round corner, sprint to next pillar and detonate, repeat. Killed him in about 45 seconds without taking a single hit.
