Thank you for keeping the title of your post short. Most post titles in r/worldnews are ridiculously long.

Here's what I don't get: if Hearst and others knew that hemp was so efficient and profitable, why didn't he just add hemp to his business? He owned a lumber business; why didn't he just diversify and turn it into a lumber and hemp business? Seems easier than publishing all that propaganda.

With a budget of $0 this is better than most stuff you see on TV and movies today. And pretty awesome besides. by thebrandonin videos

Yeah, it couldn't have been literally $0. They had to buy video cameras and CGI animation software, at the very least. But I can understand what the OP meant. It has a limited budget, but looks great.

On Lost, they found razors and shaving cream in the hatch. Maybe they even found tampons there, too.

I'd like to see Obama issue an official response to Chris Dodd, saying something like, "Fine. Don't write me a check. We'll pass the legislation that's best for the American people, and I'll run my own campaign without your money."

What I imagine an r/Christianity rage comic would be like by FatTristanin atheism

I suppose that's true. The original is funny because it's a quick, short punchline.

If the last panel was changed to that, then it would basically be saying, "The Bible, history, philosophy, and personal experiences prove that Jesus existed." To me, that's still silly, in the same way that "Because of the Bible!" is silly.

Can you explain to me how, in your point of view, the combination of the Bible with these other things proves the existence of Jesus?

OK, so, let's say this comic's last panel didn't say "Um... the Bible!" Instead, let's say the last panel said:

"Um... the Bible, combined with history, philosophy and our personal experiences!"

In that case, would you no longer be saddened by the comic?
