I should you should definitely pay. Weddings are fucking expensive. Here in Japan the guests are expected to pay their share of ALL the costs (usually around 300USD or more per person). It sucks for the guests, but saves the happy couple a shit load of money. If you're not forever alone, you can expect that favour back in the future, too. Decent system.
