I know Reddit isn't fond of HP's but I bought my HP entertainment notebook over 2 years ago and it's still running perfect. Runs both Skyrim and Diablo with out problem.

I moved to East Hartford about 6 months ago and the best places I've found are:

A couple decent parks near Hartford:

  • Wickham park

  • Gay City Park

  • Case Mountain

  • Matianuck State Park

  • Meshomasic State Forest

  • Talcott Mountain State Park

Good places to eat:

  • Polish National House

  • Max Downtown

  • Hot Tomato's

  • Black-Eyed Sally's

  • Plan B

  • Vito's by the park

Places to meet cool people:

  • Haven't found any yet, if you find some let me know!

DAE put all their bills in their wallet face first and from smallest to largest by ASOTATWin DoesAnybodyElse

I'm the same way as your roommate, except I'm a girl and it drives my friends crazy. I'm not a messy person but I continually put my bills in my wallet all crumpled up and in any order they fit. I've learned it bothers lots of people.

yup, he's got them all. He had parvo when he was just born so he regularly had to go to the Vet and has been cleared and fully vaccinated for everything.

Wow, sounds like a great work out for your dog!

I have a second question for dogs like yours that, I guess, you might be able assume they get more exercise than the average dog, do you feed them more than the recommended amounts? On days of "heavier" exercise should I give them a bit more for breakfast?

Thank you. It seems like a lot of evidence points to each dog being unique and just paying attention to behavior and if he wants to stop you have to stop. I just get scared he will push too hard to try to "keep up" and end up hurting himself.

Understood. I think I’ll try to lessen the intensity just allow him release some energy on flat land for awhile.

I do want him to eventually run with me. I run about 3-6 miles a day alone and would like a running partner. I want him develop the stamina to do this type of activity. I'm terrible with sprints though so I thought, as i'm not very fast, short sprints together can help both of us. I don't plan on taking him distance running (1 mile +) till he's at least 1year old.

All my physical activity with him has been off leash. He's 100% with the "come here" command and he's great with staying with me and not getting distracted by anything else. It's also all done in a field that's closed off so he can't just run away if he attempted.

I keep him off leash when doing sprints on hill, I never force him to run but he enjoys chasing me around.

I'm not allowed to run around at all with the puppy? Short slow bursts on a level field is still too much?

Reddit, what's your "go to" thought provoking question? by dazdnconfzdin AskReddit

[–]dazdnconfzd[S] 0 points1 point ago

I can see why this would be asked. Be a way to see if someone would rather be perceived as being screwed up or actually be screwed up and no one knows about it.

In management class we always had to do the 5 why's. It's intersting applying management concepts to your personal problems but I think it works well. Always interesting dig 5 layers deep of why.

There was a really good ted talks about this. I'm at work so can't get to the link but it was by Beau Lotto on optical illusions and how our perception can really alter how we interpret things in a basic surrondings.

I'm with you on the friends thing. I get the "you're thinking too much about it, it's not that complicated" /end conversation. I wish I could start up more hypothetical/philosophical questions with everyday interactions with out people giving me that awkward look.

That's true. I do like statements that make you go, "Wow, never thought of that but so true!" I think that's why I like quotes so much. It's someone's ability to summarize/articulate a thought in a way that makes you stop and think is pretty awesome.
