Did he actually have a chance though? Can't the other party filibust as long as you don't have 60 saying yes to a bill? (The dems had 57 in the senate in 09-10 with 2 independents which would equal 59). Just curious not completely sure on the rules.

I know no one looks at the HSP or cares about it. But it's just something I find very odd. It shows that I am playing the game differently than everyone else and that could be hindering my progress.

Who gives a fuck. The economy matters 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 times more than same-sex marriage. While I have always been for same-sex marriage I hate how it has become an issue. Those republican assholes will ruin more peoples lives today and in the future with their economic/environmental policies.

I always thought there should be a feature called "Old Reddit" or "time machine" where you can filter what users votes count. You set a year of accounts to follow, and the reddit you are now on only counts their votes. Example:Set to 2009, the content you see on your front page would be completely decided by users who had accounts in 2009 or before 2009. Meaning more like reddit used to be. Everyones front page is different already, I don't see any reason why something like this couldn't be applied here.

The only valve game that was released too early IMO was Left 4 Dead 2. I would have bought it if it came out maybe 2 years later. It felt like a scam of a game. We should have seen that coming because EA and Valve teamed up for Left 4 Dead. EA probably pressured them to rush L4D2, well I think L4D2 was basically the free DLC for L4D but EA decided people should pay $50 for it.

This is a really cool idea. I think it would help develop the Minerapocalpyse world in a lot of new ways. I'd be willing to pay about $10 to be able to make a clan. Seems like there are some good benefits. However, I am currently banned from an X-ray violation that I didn't actually commit and my dispute hasn't been read. So... I guess this won't be happening.

Also, on all occasions it was about X-ray, which is insanely hard for us. We cannot reliably detect X-ray except for looking at the time blocks were placed or removed, surrounding blocks and even then there's always a ton of other possible explanations like spies - which we can confirm, but it's hard -, and completely accidentally stumbling upon a base - which is just impossible and therefore really dangerous if you act on it, I'd advise against it

As someone who was recently banned for x-raying(Which I absolutely do not do) This is very unfortunate. I dug a 5200 block tunnel(-2300 xish, -100zish to aprox -3900,-3600(somewhere under SF not sure about the exact coords). Along the way I hit 2 bases. Given the amount of people on the server and the level that I dug at(The Diamond hotspot 11.6) it was bound that I would run into another players strip mines given the size of them. I don't understand how this is "impossible". :(

Now I am an innocent person who did not do anything wrong and I sent my appeal in 5 days ago and I have had no response. I could even show the tunnel to a mod if it would clear my name. Also I raided this base:

still has the best gameplay. Other FPS's are shit. CS has a high skill curve too. It takes a while to learn how to shoot all the guns and how the recoil patterns work. Other games you can play for a year and some noob can join up and still kill you because he has a tank or some shit.

I get that the Democrats are far from perfect, but when you are faced with two choices at the polls you have to go with them... The country as a whole needs to be moved far to the left. Even if the Democrats aren't far enough to the left for you,(thats how I feel) you gotta start getting the pendulum to swing their way.
