LPT: Shucking corn like a pro (just in time for summer!) by Raver32in LifeProTips

That is a pretty good technique, but damn that music was loud and obnoxious.

Sign into your account then go to settings. Under Account Settings select Playback and uncheck the box labeled Show annotations on videos.

Is there way disallow podcast files from showing up in music players? by kevinbushmanin Android

I also use doggcatcher and it is pretty annoying that my downloaded podcasts show up in google music. I hope someone has an answer for this.

The clip is the only reason I bought the Asset, I like the shape of the Compound blade much better.

Pretty typical serrations with alternating grind sizes, one large followed by two small.

How I wear my EDC at work. Good enough if I need it but cheap enough not to care if I break or lose it. by danceswithnarwhalsin knives

I never gave it much thought, so I guess I don't really have a preference. One time it did get bumped open and I was glad the blade was pointing down rather than up at my neck.

The light is a Streamlight Survivor. They make the same flashlight with LED and I have used both, but I prefer the halogen (they call it xenon). The LED seems very bright in the clear dark, but in a smoke filled room the LED seems more like a flood light and reflects back off the smoke. The halogen seems to penetrate the smoke and has a more focused beam.

Verizon Will End Unlimited Data Grandfathering If You Buy A 4G Phone From This Summer Onward - Time to switch carriers by aesamattkiin Android

Just another addition to the long list of anti consumer changes.

Eliminated 1 year contracts.

Eliminated "New Every Two"

Changed early upgrades from 13 months to 20

Introduced tiered data plans with none cheaper than former unlimited plans

Reduced the 30 day exchange policy to 15 days

Introduced a new $30 upgrade fee

Implements then backpedals on $2 fee for single payments

Eliminating formerly grandfathered unlimited data plans

No, it is up on my left side chest. I can't have it at my waist because of the air pack straps.

They are not tactical or wrapped in para cord and probably not the best choice for stabbing zombies, but I really like my new Messermeister kitchen knives. by danceswithnarwhalsin knives

I have an awesome old cleaver that belonged to my grandfather. I may have to post some photos of it some time.

It is a huge step up from the Pampered Chef one that I have been using for about 10 years. The blade is thick and heavy which gives it very nice balance. I can't comment yet on its edge holding ability, but it has to be better than my old one.

Alright guys, convince me to buy one of these. by atomedgein knives

I have one and I like it mostly for nostalgia. It is not the best steel and the handle can get slippery, but it always makes me happy when I get it out to use it. So if you are considering one for similar reasons then I say go for it.
