Assholes are controlling. Controlling boyfriends simply don't allow their girlfriends to cheat.

It's the nice guys who think they have their relationship locked down that are cheated on. I'm not a playboy, but I've hooked up with several girls who all cheated on their boyfriends to do so, and every one of them was just a nice guy that I'd love to have as a friend (after I found out anyway).

Is my anecdote completely definitive? Of course not, but it's just common sense.

Just another smart rich man doing what he can to get more money in his pocket. Not inherently bad, but the $1 a year paycheck isn't amazing.

The CEO of Nintendo taking a 98% salary cut during a bad year, that's cool. Several billionaires pledging 99% of their worth to charity after death, that's cool.

I wouldn't go that far. Many of the myths are surprisingly simple to actually test, and I think more often than not they do a pretty fair job of testing it with reasonable limits.
