Scott Pilgrim is by far my favorite movie of all time, but it wouldn't be if it had ended this way. Some movies benefit from having a big twist at the end. This was not one of those movies. I think the theatrical ending was the best. After watching Scott fight to be with Ramona for an hour and a half, I think the viewer wants to see them together in the end.

I got White version, and while it was good, I didn't put nearly as many hours into it as I did with Platinum. It seemed like a lot of wasted potential to be honest. For example, I think I could count on one hand the number of times you got to do a triple battle in the main storyline. You might want to wait for the sequels, which will hopefully reintroduce some of the features they left out from previous versions and make better use of the new features.

I took a class one time about the meanings behind video games, and we had to critique each others' writing assignments. I ended up reading this girl's review of the flash game Bloons Tower Defense, and her thesis was basically that the monkeys symbolized "gorilla" warfare.
