Give it some time? By the time it takes for him to 'grow out of it' he could bully kids into committing suicide. The point is to stop it before it gets to to the point where he regrets it for the rest of his life or harms someone else in a way that will lead them to doing something dangerous. Not saying that he's going to do that, but letting him stay this way leads to him not learning and remaining ignorant.
