What is your "never again" brand, item, store, or restaurant ?

Dell computers - had a laptop that went through 2 motherboards, 2 screens, 2 keyboards, and a video card in the span of 3 years. And it definitely wasn't abused by any means. Just poorly designed.

Taco Bell - Not sure if it's just idiot high schoolers where I live, but how hard is it to leave the tomatoes off of a steak soft taco? Even though I order without, at least 70% of the time they would come with them on.

I'm also pretty close to banning Kentucky Fried Chicken. Almost every time I go to the one by my house, they're out of something. We're out of extra crispy. We're out of white meat. We're out of biscuits. Unfortunately, the Popeye's by my house closed, so I can't go there instead anymore. :(

I was walking through a grocery store and saw my 5'0" mother walking away from me. I decided to be funny and walk up behind her and put my head on top of hers. Imagine my shock when a woman I've never met before turns around with a look of horror on her face. I could neither apologize enough or leave the store quickly enough.

The shelter puts all pregnant mothers in foster homes because it's less stress on the mother, there's less chance of the kittens catching something, and a foster home can generally provide better socialization for kittens. This photo was taken just before they went into the shelter at 8 weeks of age.

It's because of fostering kittens that I now have a wireless keyboard and mouse. For some reason chewing on cables was just irresistible.

I have a bengal that does the same thing. For some reason he feels the need to dig to get the "good" water at the bottom of his water bowl. Will do this with any open water in the house.

My parents let me have some friends overnight for my (I'm guessing) 11th birthday, and we were going to watch Saturn 3 and Apocalypse Now on HBO. We got through Saturn 3, but Apocalypse Now didn't really get to stay on for long.

I've been saying for years that senators should be paid the median (maybe mean?) income in their states, and representatives should be paid the median or mean from their districts. I suppose the pitfall to that would be that instead of all the redistricting to try and game the dominance of a particular party, the redistricting fight will be to try to raise the income in the district, to then raise the income of the representatives. I'm not really sure what could be done to avoid this, though. Limit redistricting to certain situations? I honestly don't know.

I would say if she doesn't go down, he doesn't go down. That is, as long as he can get her off in some other way. It wouldn't be fair for him to withhold the one thing that may get her off.

My wife actually stuck to the traditional paper for our first anniversary. However, it came in the form of 2 tickets to a Clemson Tigers football game (I went to Clemson and we live 850 miles away, so that was pretty cool as far as I was concerned).

Not suggesting tickets to a Clemson game, but perhaps tickets to <event you're interested in> (football? baseball? broadway show?).

Yeah, that seems about right. This goes along with a theory I have about women in general. You know how women always seem to date assholes? It's not because they want to get treated like shit. It's because they have this twisted fantasy that if they date a guy that's an asshole, and they can stop his assholishness, then he changed just for them and they therefore have some value because he did it for her. It's some sort of validation for them. Same thing with wanting sex 2 minutes before an important meeting. If he has sex with me instead of leaving on time for his meeting, that means that I'm more important. And it doesn't seem to get any better with age (I'm 41, my wife is 38, we've been married for 9 years, and she still does this sort of thing to me on occasion.)

Actually, deposits in banks are insured by the FDIC up to $250,000, so in the event the bank goes under the depositors would be protected. Investment accounts are protected by the SIPC up to $500,000, but only for losses due to brokerage failure, not due to bad investments or poor advice.

I've had this printed out hanging on my computer rack for a couple years now. Just as a reminder to myself to NEVER LET IT GET THIS BAD. Also, never wear socks with sandals. For some reason it makes me think he's european. Not sure why.

They are typically very high energy (many love exercise wheels a la hamsters), they love water (by love, I mean that there are some that will come in a bathtub with you. I had one that would come in the shower with me in the morning, and I have one that plays in his water bowl all the time and will play in the toilet if you forget to close the lid). They are very vocal, and if you live in an area where the homes have basements, you will frequently hear them yowling down there just to hear themselves. Their vocalizations are another thing - many don't have a typical cat "meow" - they yowl more along the lines of what one would expect to hear from a female cat in heat. For the most part, they're not lap cats, although don't tell mine, because I can hardly get them out of my lap. They apparently have something against paper, because they are constantly shredding any paper they find in my house, especially toilet paper. They have a penchant for opening cabinets (I typically find 2 or 3 open every morning when I get up). They can be quite food aggressive. I don't mean aggressive with cat food and other cats, I mean aggressive going after people food either on your plate or left anywhere. I had one pull a turkey carcass out of my garbage can, which is in a wooden cabinet with a lid. The cat actually managed to open the lid, crawl in, and haul out the turkey carcass. All the cats were pretty happy that night.

Now I'm not saying that these traits are exclusive to bengals, or that all bengals exhibit all these traits, but I think if you told any bengal owner some of these stories, they would just nod and say, "oh yeah, this one time mine..."

Any other bengal owners think of any other traits I missed?
