Not sure where you're from, but around here, boyfriends are expected to call/text first. Because of this rule, whatever fears you have of looking clingy by calling/texting first, are amplified for her. I'm also a teenager. I'm a heteroromantic demisexual, that might change my perspective on some things. It hasn't been too much of a problem for me.

We're just a group of people with one thing in common. And even then, some of us are okay with sex, some of us hate it, demis don't like casual sex. There's no right way to be asexual. That's the point of the gradient in the ace triange and the black, gray, and white stripes in the flag. We're all different, and we're going to have different feelings about things.

One thing I'd like to tell you: don't worry about labeling yourself.

Careful dude. One thing I've noticed is when I was (and still am) single for long enough, I liked a girl, totally in my league, but liked someone else. Couldn't get her out of my mind for a while. Thought I really liked her. Then I realized that I was so desperate that I didn't even like her for being her anymore, I just liked the idea of having a girlfriend.

Been wondering if it happens to anyone else, and if it does, what to call it.

I used to live in the suburbs, and I thought "Fuck driving. The only place I would go that's not within a bike ride is little bro's sports practice. I don't need a car."

Mom decided we'd move across the country, now I live 3 miles from my best friend's house and a 15 minute drive away from everyone and everything. I'm nearly 16, no permit. Hate the bumming rides off of people, and now I have no idea what to do dating-wise now.

Do you find certain words offensive

I don't find the words themselves offensive, but I don't like them used in a negative way. e.g. "Oh shit!" is completely inoffensive, but saying, "you're a piece of shit" is offensive.
