I want to say I wouldn't, but I would. I am a believer people can learn from their mistakes. She would have to pour her heart out to me and tell me explicitly what she did wrong, and I would give her zero leeway thereon out.

I don't know, I asked a girlfriend of mine (who always is honest) and she said no, pretty even. The guy was her ex from years ago who cheated on her.

I could ruin her social life awfully if I wanted to. None of her girlfriends know what she did, and her best girl friend (at the time, since distanced herself) called me to hear what happened - she said my ex is a lunatic, and always was one.

Shame, on paper and by her looks she was a catch.

Thanks. There were so many signs:

Asked to meet up with the guy for lunch before he went abroad for a year. I trusted her since they were friends first and since she communicated well. She came back crying from it.
Never told anyone we moved in together to look independent.
Prided herself on not telling anyone everything about her.
Said there is more to her than anyone knows.
Would hate not getting her way many times.
Lightly defended her girlfriends when they cheated (one grinds with other dudes, another made out with a guy one month into a relationship).

Dating is awful, been single for a few months now, but no one (maybe except one girl) that I met really fit the bill for what I want.

After months of her acting different, shutting down sexually, becoming more selfish, she finally was treating me as if I was being shady with other girls.

I know from experience if someone accuses you of infidelity when there is no basis for it then they are doing something. So, I read her diary. In there she was writing about her first boyfriend who cheated on her five years ago with three of her friends. She was writing how she wanted to be with him, woke up next to me thinking about him, texts him at bars, hates girls who are with him, etc.

I was sickened, called her out on it, and she flipped out at me. She never apologized, she admitted she was texting at bars (so, hiding stuff) but quickly said she did nothing wrong. She cursed me out hard. I tried to work it out, and after the breakup rekindle, but nothing - we haven't spoken in months.

Similar to a death penalty - all or nothing. If one partner wants it, then it has to be kept but the partner who does not doesn't bear responsibility for the child. If neither want it, abortion (imo has to be under certain conditions, but that's debatable), and if both want it then great.

Yeah. If I may, she moved in with me, her life went to shit (broke, no job, couldn't afford food), she shut down in every way possible, making it difficult to communicate with her. Then, she unconsciously blamed her problems on our relationship and new location. After, bickering that always pretty much was catalyzed by her, she told me I was being shady with girls. Bad sign, in my opinion, so I snooped in her diary.

Turns out she was messaging the guy who cheated on her five years ago while at bars, no idea what her texts said, and in her diary wrote really elaborately how she wanted to be with him.

I called her out, that was that, and we were done, she since has not apologized, never told anyone why we broke up nor what she did, nor ever has reached out to me, and I miss her despite what she did. She doesn't have the capability of saying sorry or knowing she caused a lot of our problems.
