I'm so glad that this post meant something to you. If it made a difference to one person, then I'm happy that I posted it. And yes, being 17 definitely has something to do with what you are feeling. I remember experiencing the same things you are describing, feeling confident and content one day, then frumpy and irritable the next day. All I can say is that it gets better. Your hormones will even out, and it will be so much easier to love and accept your body. :)

What neighborhood are you in? If you are going to the same types of restaurants, you are going to encounter the same types of loud obnoxious people. There are enjoyable quiet restaurants in this city. With about 9000 restaurants to choose from, I can guarantee they aren't all annoyingly loud.

Really as long as your place is clean and neat, I don't think you need to worry about having specific items around whose sole purpose is to impress the opposite sex. We are women---we don't all think the same, we don't all like the same things, our tastes are pretty eclectic. Worry more about being a respectful, considerate, datable man than what's hanging on your wall or sitting on your bookshelf.

I hate to break this to you, but the food is pretty terrible. I go to almost all the Hawks game at the United Center and I have tried just about everything the vendors have to offer. If there's any way you can eat before the game, or if you don't mind waiting til after, then that would be your best option.

It's very common for women to be unable to orgasm just from penetration. Once you are over 35, your chance of having multiples increases and the risk of chromosomal abnormalities in the baby is significantly higher. source
