Reddit, how do you feel about Eurovision? by chive_onin AskReddit

[–]boweruk 2 points3 points ago

Too political. It's not even about the music anymore. You could just say I'm a disgruntled Brit (we came second last - I did actually think we were pretty bad though) but all the former Soviet nations just vote for each other now. Needless to say, I watch it every year.

Ah okay! My school has no corridors like that hence why I was confused. :) Thanks, internet friend!

You go to school in the dark? Forgive my ignorance, but I'm British and am confused.

For this one, you should add "USA & UK" because we're stuck using miles as well. Assuming you are sentient...bot. :|

Aw, how sad. I know this happened in the UK when my parents were kids. Hopefully that's stopped now after 18 years. I didn't see this happening though, thankfully. There were a few lefties there; two can be seen in the picture but there were quite a few more than that.

Without sounding creepy, where abouts in the UK is he located roughly? This looks familiar to an old peoples home I worked at last year.

Also, props to you. Great idea, and the Flat Stanley project sounds pretty cool! Will have to check it out.

Is this the place where the cremations take place? I think I was here last month, and boy does the 'holy water' look a lot dirtier now!

In April, I went to Nepal for three weeks primarily to teach however we did other things such as a 5 day trek up a mountain (Not Everest, though!), rafting, visiting lots of temples, attending a Nepal Easter service and many other things. We taught children in some poor schools for 4 days with many topics but all in English, to increase their vocabulary. Pictured, the kids are learning body parts. The experience was amazing, and I would love to go back and do it all again!

Can we all just brag for a moment? by rastabeanin AskReddit

I'm 14, and I am currently employed by a company across the pond developing a pretty large project (it's a website) for them, and it pays really well! I'm saving half of my wage, but I've managed to buy tonnes of things I want with the leftover including a new desk, iMac, iPad, new monitors, 3DS and PSVita to name a few. I don't consider myself materialistic, but it's nice knowing that if I want something, I can get it without worrying.
