I would say the same thing if he was playing for the US; if you get paid by your team you can't just choose to miss 3 (paid) months of the season because the stuff you do in the offseason is more important to you.

For some reason, Super Meat Boy never made me want to smash stuff. I never got frustrated. Even if I had to start a level for the bazillionth time, I still was somehow cool with it. As opposed to, say, Mega man, which makes me want to kill people after 5 minutes.

Where you are born is a large factor on how you turn out as a person, and celebrating the country that has partly formed my identity comes easy to me.

Why your country? Why not your family, your street, your hair color, your circle of friends? Nobody runs around with flags of one of those things, nobody has football tournaments based on any of those things, people don't kill each other because they hate each others street so much. Why is it only the country that matters on another level?
