It's not possible.. When you reboot your phone, the decryption takes place before it boots...this is when you enter your PIN

The recover partition is loading before the ROM does, so you're not prompted to decrypt.

Currently, no recovery rom support encryption.

i had the same problem. aftershave made it worse. get rid of any compressed gas type shaving cream and pick up some shaving soap!, works 10 times better. i also ditched the gillette razors for a safety razor and havent had a problem since.
