Skjekk ut Rammsund. De har oversatt en del Rammstein sanger til nynorsk, til og med min mor elsker det bandet.

Ellers kan du også sjekker ut Plumbo. De ble godt kjent med sangen Møkkamann for ikke så lenge siden, og den sangen er bedre enn mye annet vi pøser ut av musikk her i dette landet.

From the top of my mind I can mention Ågotnes Sveis, Fjell Industries, Semco, SolidTech, Rolls Royce, Heliburton, KTV (can't emember exactly what the letters stand for, but we usually just call them the smurfs). There are more companies in this area as well, but I can't recall any names right now.

You could also put a CV up at nav.no, finn.no as well as register at several employment agencies, like Kelly services, pro office, manpower, etc.

If you should have any problems finding something within hot work, or anything similar, I know Securitas in Bergen have a few projects coming in this fall where they need a lot more firewatchers. Not exactly what you guys are looking for, but that will at least give you a foot on the inside of that industry, and might help you with building some realtions that could come in handy.

I used to work with repairing oil rigs in Bergen before, a lot of swedish people here. Find a company that need your services. I don't know of any in Stavanger, but if you are open for other towns I could mention a few.

Once I went to visit my parents the bus out there were full. But one idiot had på put his suitcase laying over 2 seats instead of puttig it in the baggage area. Lot of people on the bus are assholes.

When I was in London this fall I didn't have any problems finding veg-friendly food anywhere. Even got to go to a few vegetarian restaurants as well (Mildreds had several yummy options, many vegan as well). A few years back I went to France on a school trip, and that was horrible. Pretty much lived off salad and bread for the entire trip. But I went to Nice instead of Paris, and my host family didn't speak a word english.
