When I'm preparing food for cooking I always take the trash can out from under the sink for easier access. Yet when I then need to throw something out, I walk over and open up the cabinet door to throw it away under the sink. Every. Fucking. Time.

That is definitely a major drawback of NA. I've also noticed that NA groups can sometimes devolve into "my addiction is cooler than your addiction." Very judgmental, but that judgment is part of the reason they are addicts. Thank you very much for your response and for your honesty, I really appreciate it. Keep up the good work!

That's cool theory craft, but all of the conversations have been very pleasant and well intentioned. Completely non-antagonistic. Which brings up another interesting point in all this: no one is DIRECTLY responding to the insult.

Most definitely. Someone paid attention in logic class haha. Yea, there could very easily be ZERO causation, and my opening messages have just gotten that much better. I wish there was a way to make it "all other things being equal," but that's kind of the catch-22 of sociological phenomena, huh?

So its the idea of the challenge that is getting the responses? From reading the links you posted about neg-hits, it looks like they are used to manipulate women. That's pretty shitty. I'm not into the manipulation thing, I was honestly putting that on my profile out of frustration and a sense of "well, why the hell not? I guess goals and education are too much for internet women."
