I have a question about this whole birth certificate thing. And maybe I'm ignorant of some law somewhere, but, no one is doubting Obama's mothers citizenship right? She is (was) a confirmed American Citizen. If that's a fact, shouldn't the fact that she is the mother of Obama, make him an American citizen, no matter where he was born? I mean, if I was pregnant and gave birth in a foreign country, that doesn't necessarily make my child the citizen of that country and negate the fact that the child would also be American too, right?

So I guess my point is, even if Obama had been born elsewhere, doesn't the fact that his mother was American count for anything?

I have worked as an intern for the federal government for 3 years and work at a nonprofit during my semesters working with political organizations and representatives, so yes I do have some experience. However, by no mean am I saying I am overqualified for everything. But I am applying to jobs as a telemarker/receptionists where the only qualifications are a diploma/GED and the ability to type 35 wpm.

I did speak with him, but it was rather impromptu as I work with him. He is new though and didn't sound to sure.

Anyone else drink regularly but has never driven even semi-drunk? by DickLavain AskReddit

I did once and that was more than enough for me. It wasn't because I legitimately thought I could drive but rather because my sister called- begging me to pick her up from the metro at like 2:30am.

I had fallen asleep and woke up to her phone call. She told me no cabs were picking up there phones and maybe they stopped running after a certain point. I tried calling cabs for 20 minutes but whenever any service would pick up the phone and I asked if they picked up where I needed they would either straight away say no- or laugh.

So I went and got her, a literal 12 minute drive to and from- shaking the entire time. I pull up to scoop her from the kiss and drive and what do I see there but 2 fucking cabs.

I was in my local Macdonald's store for lunch today, in Perth WA. This image gets me every time, thought I'd share :-) by konmanin pics

Anyone think it's weird that 48% of those polled don't know/haven't heard of or hold no opinion on the tea party movement?

The fact that you used the word xenophobia when describing yourself and other hipsters like yourself. I didn't realize you guys were of another race, ethnicity or nationality.
