The new pope and his "assistant" are deeply hated right now. Many are pissed the Catholic Church and Catholic schools sued the US over BC instead of taking the compromise which the past 2 Popes would have been fine with. The modern Church "was" known for comprmising. There are alot of people in the Catholic Church who are very unhappy, especially when the Pope went after the Nun's Council for caring for the sick and poor instead of protesting abortions. So anyways people are trying to find a way to oust this not very good pope and someone leaked papers on how this pope is running things. Anyways a reporter wrote a book about the money laundering going on and the viciousness of the infighting going on at the Vatican. Someone gave the reporter the personal papers of the Pope. Looks like the Butler is going to take the hit eventhough it is probably one of the other Bishops. This Pope is really not well liked and his "assistant" is even more hated. So expect many more scandals to erupt till this guy is gone.

It's what the USA does. As of 2010 the officail rate of minors in poverty is 21% but the true poverty line is far above where we put it and the true number of minors in poverty is 42%. This started to rise when my kids were younger and is only going to get worse Considering how having kids is the number one rout to poverty, why the Republicans are against birth control is beyond me.

TX is it's own little world. The sad part is TX has the most jobs right now as they are letting factories and other business come in pay no taxes and do what ever they want environmentally. The factory jobs pay minimum wage but at least they pay. I wouldn't be surprised if TX created a law that allowed business to enslave people. At the same time Houston has an openly gay mayor who did not run on a gay rights platform.

It will actually help on her college applications. Having to explain that she was thrown in jail for working 2 jobs to support her and her sister when they were abandon will definitely help her get in. The question is when the Judge threw her in jail what happened to the younger sibling? Dept. of Children are obligated by law to take any child left unsupervised because the guardian is incarcerated.

I am the hypercrite in the situation. My daughter told me she thought her Middle School math teacher might be a little racists. I told her "no" that he just had a thing for the kids whose elementary school was the same as his child. My daughter has never had a teacher not like her and this guy does favor one ethnicity group. It is kinda Obvious. I did say something to the principal in private as to my fears and left it at that. I lied to my daughter as I just don't want my daughter getting caught up in that trap or you will start wondering about who else has a bias and why. Easier to just assume the best in my opinion.

Here is a link to a Wikipedia on a book based off of IQ and 81 countries. I disagree with the book because of the level of schooling reached by African immigrants in the US. In the past 10-15 years the US has given more slots for green cards to African countries in the GC lottery. The Un also placed a lot of refugees here also from Africa. Those immigrants and their children have the highest percentage of degrees earned by an ethnic group. While the book says people in African Countries are morons. It's less people are Moron's and more lower economic stability effects IQ attainment. IQ is not a constant and you can up it or degrade it based off of experience.

Then again I have an average IQ so whatever.
