I was there Saturday when the woman who posted this called them freaking out...its not in the garden areas its actually out beyond the cottonwood grove well out of sight to those who aren't specifically looking for them. My inlaws were visiting and my mother made a comment that she didn't care for it, but when she heard the woman complaining about it, her reply was "it might not be within my taste in art, but the message was good...those are the same bozos who would put a fig leaf on David." I was pretty proud of her.

R1 is usually a core2duo processor, the R2 base model had an i5 and the R3 that they currently sell is i5 or i7. The R1 had a bad hinge issue that would crack the shell...for a while AW offered free repair beyond the warranty but I think that expired a while back...I do know you can order the "fixed" lid though. I repaired my original r1 with epoxy and a replacement lid I found on ebay.

I'm starting to see this as a possible opportunity for an eventual public option. If they win the lawsuits it opens up employers to deny whatever coverage they can claim goes against their beliefs, scientologists can deny mental health coverage, christian scientists can deny all coverage, Jehovas Witnesses can deny anything requiring blood, etc. The state of private insurance could quickly be in such shambles that universal coverage is the only option left. Perhaps letting them get what they wish for is a good idea after all.

I assume you mean an m17x? WHoever your taking to get your PC work done is full of crap...to the point where I wouldnt go there again for anything. The cpu is socketed and can be easily replaced. The GPU is slotted and can be replaced or upgraded as well.

The first thing I would recommend is making sure the firmware is up to date on the bios...there were some issues early on with the bios and the gpu that can cause blue screens and crashes. Also make sure the video drivers are up to date. Not sure what they are trying to imply with "stress tests" but I assume benchmarking which again can be thrown off by outdated firmware combined with certain versions of the video drivers. The only real cases where a cpu "kinda" goes bad is from overstressing the cpu due to overclocking but even that is not very common.

If your not comfortable diving into it yourself, I'd recommend going to get a second opinion preferably from someone that actually knows what they are doing.
