In this pic, the light from a computer LED is strangely hard-edged despite being far from the camera. Is it fixable in the raw file, or do I just have to Photoshop it?

Protip: The closer the source of a light is to a subject, the softer the light. The further the source, the harder the light.

I lived there in '98-'99. The courtyards between the two buildings was a great place to hang out. We took a lot of acid, smoked a lot of pot, and stayed up all night chainsmoking pretending we were studying. College was great.

Better yet, why does Kobe only own one MVP award? Kobe has never gotten the respect he deserves. He owns five titles and has been the best player in the NBA for a long long time.

Unfortunately Lion was a downloaded install and I don't have a disk.

Also my time machine backup is from os 10.7.2 but the os on the new hard drive was only at 10.6.8. Would that have had any bearing on my problem? I'm still stuck on the blue screen of death.

I don't think him being traded will effect whether or not he one day is involved in the Lakers organization. He's certainly got the resume, credentials, respect, and support of the fans.

As far as having someone in the locker room who could criticize Kobe, I hear you on that. A lot of people say that but I for one don't know how true that is. At the end of the day I think Fisher was/is a Kobe enabler. How else would he have lasted so long? He's one of Kobe's best friends. While I do think he is a leader, I think there is a lot more to the Kobe/Fisher/Mike Brown drama than the public will ever really know.
