I know about steganography. But no matter how small the image is, you won't get a lossless upload to Facebook. Facebook automatically encodes all images to jpegs, which means that all bets on preserving your bit-sensitive data are off.

Yeah, I mean the latter. In the example you posted where there's just a universe of floating particles in all three dimensions that you can rotate the camera in, well, your particles are simply moving along that single plane.
