When I was younger, I used to see suicide as a way out of mental agony, and something that could get you out of all your pain. When I got older, I began to value the very fact that I have a life. Existing is so strange, don't you think? You're alive and it's weird. It's weird and crazy and remarkable all at once. It's odd to think that you and billions of others take residence on this tiny rock in the midst of the vast universe. Your species has produced more advancements than any other species on Earth. A couple of use have been to another celestial object. We've made buildings much larger than us that we can safely live in. We have created food that many of us can eat whenever we want. We are planning more advancements in the future. The fact that we were randomly able to do all of this on a tiny speck in the middle of the universe is remarkable. You are alive, and that alone is amazing. How can you possibly justify killing yourself? You don't consider yourself intelligent, but I doubt that you aren't. You have a whole life to look forward to, and even if you hate yourself all the way through it, at least you can say "I've made it this far." If you choose to keep living, and at least hope things forwardly progress, perhaps they will. Fuck the people that think suicide is obligatory for you. It isn't. Find things you enjoy and do them as often as you can. Show people how capable you really are. I don't really know what else to say. If you ever want someone to talk to, I gladly will. Any time. I really hope you get to feeling better. Genuinely. I'm not sure where this post has gotten off to and I don't know if it served its intended purpose, but I hope it has helped some.
