if you don't mind me asking, why do you suggest this loop order and removing the drain?

where i have seen the loop order in the way you describe, i read multiple times around the internet that you want the rad just before your cpu block to cool the water before it reaches your first block.

also, i have seen how a drain makes changing your fluid much easier. this was the best way i could do it using my basic knowledge of water cooling. how would you have done it? the way i have it i pull that bit out of the case and let it hang below with a bucket under it. remove the cap and unplug the res. gravity should take over and drain the loop completely.

i have edited my post to say that my loop is now working.

Holy shit dude, that did it. As soon as i cleared that bubble it was like someone opened the flood gates. Upvote for you. Hopefully anyone else with this set up finds this. As it is a very odd setup indeed. Well deserved karma for you. I'd buy you a beer right now.

basically i can see an air pocket just sitting in the inlet nossle inside the res. (the little spout thing) i would guess that if water is flowing through like it is supposed to, the force of the water would push that air out and i wouldnt be able to see anything moving after all the air has be bled. so what i did was pull off the inlet hose (essentially the last part of the whole loop) and stuck it in a bucket, filled the res, and turned the pump on. while continuously filling, i watched as water was just gushing out the hose. so i put it back on the res, and that same gushing water flow seemed to have vanished.

to my knowledge the pump never ran dry as there was always water in the res. on the initial power on the res was full. turned it on. it sucked near all the water out. turned it off. filled the res again. turned it on, and cycled it a few times to try and get all the air out. i left it running for about 10 minutes while i checked for leaks, then i noticed like a tornado of air between the intake nossle and the intake pump hole (if that makes sense). so i turned it off, and cycled the power a couple more times and that's when the problems started.

That's about as detailed as i can be from memory. ill try and provide more information as i can in order to troubleshoot this. this is my first w/c build btw. and thanks for the reply.

Why Does America Love Skrillex .. an interesting read regardless of your subjective views on the guys music. by neonstereoin dubstep

what's interesting to me is how music trends here in the states. in other words - what does it take for a particular genre - or sect of a genre - of music to become acceptable and well-liked by the people who are listening and buying music? is it progression or is it change? but more specifically: Does this new trend for electronic/dance/house/trance music have to do with our continual advancements in computer technology - that we prefer a sound generated from a computer as opposed to a sound generated from a mechanical means like a traditional musical instrument? I'm sure there is certain psychological reasoning for this phenomena but i cant help but to draw a conclusion based on this direct correlation. Or does this have to do with "being cool"? and we all know that for whatever reason the definition of "being cool" now means the opposite of what it used to. a few years ago you were considered uncool for being a geek/nerd. now it's "cool" to be awkward/weird/quirky. i guess the same could be said for electronic music. where just a few years ago you were weird/"gay" if you liked it. i guess it only makes sense now that it too is popular.
