I never experienced the "lack of feeling" when drinking Four Loko then again I wasn't that dumbass that tried to chug a can. Mixing a depressant with a stimulant is a bad idea period but then again if people actually paid attention to what and how much they are drinking then none of this crap would have happened. Wishful thinking on my part...

Well nowadays they would call protective services if you "smacked the shit out of his hand." When I think of corporal punishment I see a parent beating or spanking his child. Do I think its wrong for every case? No. However I believe if a parent's first reaction is to inflict physical pain on their kid then that is wrong. There are plenty of ways to deal with unruly children instead of "hurting them". It's easier to raise a hand in anger then to try and think of a way to rectify behavior.

My invitation was "if you still want to come with you being far and all...".I probably won't go in the end because I don't want to go where I'm not wanted. It's their wedding after all.

As for it having to do with religion. Well, I have a habit of posting interesting articles I find here on my Facebook. I have had several "talking to's" by both of them. I basically told them that it wasn't personal since it wasn't posted on their wall but my own and if they didn't like it, then they shouldn't look at it. That didn't go over to well. I think that ultimately she was under the pressure of her fiancée and she might have been afraid I would have been pushing my "atheist agenda (snort)" at her wedding. If that was the case, then she never knew me as a friend to begin with.

That guy of hers is really possessive. He doesn't let her go anywhere without his permission. She told me one day that he thought it was a good idea for her to come up in the summer because he thought it would do her good. I was like WOW! What about you, don't you want to see me? (this was before he found out I was an atheist). That is the whole relationship. She will ultimately do anything to please him. I just never figured I'd be given the boot too.. :/

I'm not angry, I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated. Frustrated because I know that if she wasn't with this guy she wouldn't be so radical. She mimics the belief's of whoever she is with. All the other guys she was with either never paid attention to religion or viewed it as something that is personal. I guess some people need more than just religion to lean on. And it's not the fact that I'm no longer invited to the wedding, it the fact that she wasn't honest. She is trying not hurt anyone's feelings. But in the end she ends up catering to her soon to be husband and is losing many of her friends. I'm not the only one who has been kicked to the side for her fiancée...

Not anymore. She has always been tolerant of my opinions and I return the favor. The issue is with that fiancée of hers. Its a shame that a friendship had to end because of someone's intolerance.
