Thanks! This seems to be the way to go based on most of what I've read.

Yeah, I could definitely tell that the nurse was wrong when she said any OTC was ok to take. And, yup, I know not to give honey to my baby. Not that I'm giving her anything since I'm the one with the cough. :-)

I'm sure this has been asked, but I'm looking for breast pump recommendations. by cleverinspiringnamein breastfeeding

I like the medela freestyle. It's similar to the pump n style but it's smaller so you can clip it onto your pants and be more mobile while using it.

Handy food truck app by adorabloggerin boston

Yep this is it. It seems surprisingly accurate and thorough. I'm impressed that they've gotten the food truck operators to supply them with the info so regularly.

Awesome tummy time action! My baby is 6 months and still hates tummy time. We call it crummy time! Haha.

Ramen question by adorabloggerin japan

Thanks! I'm on the east coast but next time I'm in LA I will definitely go there! Luckily when I get to go to NYC there's an Ippudo and a few other good places.

Ramen question by adorabloggerin japan

Oops! Thanks for the spelling correction. I actually went to Kamukura, the town, as well and it was beautiful. And thanks for weighing in on what kind of ramen you think they serve!

Anyone know what restaurants were serving ramen at the Japan Spring Festival yesterday? It was too mobbed to even take a peek. by adorabloggerin boston

Plot thickens a bit more. According to Eater:

"It appears as though the ramen shop rumored to be coming to Porter Square may be YUMEWOKATARE, a chain with five locations in Japan. ..."

Just ppotted on chowhound:

"Just a sidenote, one of the ramen stalls at the matsuri this past weekend will be opening up a (tonkotsu) ramen restaurant in September in Porter Square. As I understand it, the owner is a comedian in Japan who opened a number of successful ramen shops in Kansai, and he has now moved into the area so will open one up here. Looking forward to September!"

I haven't tried the ramen there because the yelp reviews are pretty vicious. Have you tried it?

I do hear that they are the only place in Boston that does Taiyaki and I kinda want to try that.

Yeah, oddly enough it doesn't list who did the food booths. Maybe I'll write to the organizers and ask.

Ah. Interesting. I bet you're right that they provided some of the food. And maybe were in charge of one of the ramen stalls.
