For some reason, when I chew gum, I tend to end up smacking it, despite the fact that I don't do that to any other food. Because of this, I generally don't chew gum because that's just annoying.

Just wondering: why self posts? I see that there is an r/iphonehelp, but there are only 500 subscribers and barely any comments to posts, which isn't really helpful at all; however, this subreddit has 30k+ subscribers, which would likely provide infinitely more answers to issues than 500 would.

I've never really had an issue with people making self posts, whether they are having iPhone issues or whatever else. It doesn't seem to clog the front page either.

Again, I'm just curious.

Well I started out by volunteering for the team. I wasn't aware that my city even had a team until one of my friends joined it. After I started volunteering, I was also a smearleader (our form of cheerleaders), and it just kind of went from there.

You should check to see if your city has a team!

Roller derby is actually played on roller skates (quads) :)

I'd probably be horrible at roller blades, but yeah, it just takes practice.

Actually, lots of girls can't skate when they start. We encourage ours to go to fun skates at the local roller rinks before hand and to possibly get help from the veteran skaters if possible. Believe me, I completely sucked at first.
