I'm the same way. I'm 20 now and I've always had a bit of a hard time making friends, but that is because I choose to. I very rarely go out of my way to meet new people. I have a small group of friends that I know I can trust and that's perfectly fine with me. If you're comfortable with just the one friend, that's fine, there is nothing wrong with that. You'll learn that having a lot of friends in high school doesn't mean much when you get older.

Didn't take long for me to realize how rude I was here.

I had just attended the funeral for my best friend's mother. A few hours after the funeral, my friend called me and a few others up and asked if we wanted to get together to help him get his mind off things.

As we were all together we tried to make it as comfortable as possible by carrying on as best as we could like before his mom's passing.

I accidentally got a little too comfortable and quickly responded to one of his witty chirps to me with a "your mom" joke...

I was downtown with a few friends. After multiple pitchers between us, we decided to hop to the next bar. Being a stupid drunk, I decide its a good idea to cross the busy road without looking either way. The very second I stepped on the road, a old truck sped past me and the big side mirror that stuck out quite a bit clipped my face. Luckily the only injury I received for my stupidity was a broken nose. Could have been a lot worse.

I live with a hipster and he is one of the most pretentious people I have ever met. I hate trying to carry a conversation with him because he always tries to either one up me or somehow prove his "smartness".

Even if I clearly know more about a certain subject, he will try to look like a genius but make no sense whatsoever. I just end up agreeing with him to kill the conversation.

He also always shits on my music taste. So what if my favourite song is on the radio!
