I am sorry that you could not enjoy Tales of the Abyss. There is a reason he acts that way, and you were semi-close to finding out. It makes perfect sense, and you really start to respect the character as the story progresses. Its funny looking back at the beginning (first 10 hours) after beating the game, because the whole war between Malkuth and Kimlasca is really nothing in relation to the rest of the story. I thought similar to you. That its just this silly little war your going to try to stop the whole game; definitely not the case.

After beating this, I put the game within the ranks of FFX, Chrono Trigger, and Dragon Quest VIII.

Was looking at the a700's, but decided on the M50's. Hope I am not missing out too much! I am really enjoying these though. Two things killed the a700's for me. Not designed to retain sound, and that they are not very portable.

Thanks a lot. I really think it would be best to go try them out. Its about an hour drive to the nearest Guitar Center, but it would be worth it. I have a local Best Buy but they only showcase Beats.

Hmm. Well I plan on using them on my laptop and ipod touch the most; probably equally. Usually I like to listen to classic, electronic, and rock. So less focus on bass, and more on other things.

It does seem silly to buy studio headphones based on my criteria. But closed ear headphones are the only ones that do not hurt my ears after 10 minutes. :/ So if you could point me in the right direction that'd be great!

Well I drive a V8 Camaro in the Winter and it will slide on just a half inch of snow. I think its just a combination of its light weight, and power behind the wheel.

But still, as long as you drive slow you can always re-establish control after you start to slide. She probably made the worst decision one could make driving through the snow and slammed the brakes.
