Street life. Early 1900's by Dahmerin pics

This.

For some reason I just fucking love this picture. It's all strangely hypnotizing. Exotic, almost. I'm totally going to save this one.

This is the story of your life, yet you still wish you could be her? Doesn't that first part mean you are her?

More like a unidick.

TIL that if you spelled out numbers (in English), you would have to count to one thousand to find a number with the letter 'A'. by Lancaster1983in todayilearned

[–]Wolfszeit 0 points1 point ago

I quote myself:

you would have to count* from one to one trazillion* .

So no zero.

And yes, trazillion is fictional. I was just trying to show how uninteresting this fact is.

No, that would just get it pregnant.

[–]Wolfszeit 4 points5 points ago

Tsss... What the fuck is this shit anyway. What's so special about the whole "A"-letter thing?

In that case: If you spelled out numbers (in English), you would have to count from one to one trazillion to find a number with the letter 'Z'.

Yeah! Because the UESP page on Grain Mills is so much more detailed than the Wikia one....!

Oh, wait. UESP doesn't have a page on grain mills.

Yeah, that may be a downside. We wouldn't want to target the janitor in this operation...

Their 'Nightfall in Middle Earth' album is amazing.

Concept album completely based on the Silmarillion. Around 22 'songs' (some are just narrative parts). Epic shit, if you're into the metal genre a little.

But that also has it's disadvantages.

Let's get this hypothetical tier for example:

Karma you have - Karma you need to post

10 - 1

100 - 10

1.000 - 100

10.000 - 1000

Once you reach a thousand karma, you would need at least get 100 karma for your comment to 'regain' your previous 'level'.

And the point with that is that you don't only need well-thought-out-posts to reach this, you also need to have the luck that people read your comment.

In a post with 1000+ comments, your comment might be very resourcefull, but there's a huge chance you will get buried, so the 'risk' will be to great... Thus it will actually stop people from posting useful comments, in stead of garbage.

This will probably discourage and thus reduce the amount of "smaller" discussion that sometimes spawn in the lesser 'populated' parts of the commentsection. Actual good discussions with no more than 2-3 people. The ones I actually enjoy partaking in, myself.

No, what we need is a system where there is no real disadvantage to throwing in your opinion or witty joke or whatnot; and where everyone else will be free to decide what's 'garbage' and whatnot. Then we will make sure that all the comments that the general public dislike end up on the bottom of the page, and the 'good' comments will get the attention they deserve.

..... Did you see what I did there? ಠ_ಠ

So I finally found every damn one. by TheDeepSheepin skyrim

[–]Wolfszeit 6 points7 points ago

Why is that so?

I always have heavily relied on UESP in the past; but since Skyrim there seems to be a lot of information on the wikia that's simply missing on UESP.

Sure, UESP is great for the lore hunters and whatnot... but for in-game information the wikia is just so much more detailed.

[–]Wolfszeit -1 points0 points ago

I just think the mindset should change. Karma simply represents the 'usefulness' of a post, and thus also of a user. People shouldn't see it as (imaginary) points.

[–]Wolfszeit 4 points5 points ago

Percentage wouldn't work either.

If you charge, say, 10%; you can never reach zero karma.

100 - 10 = 90

90 - 9 = 81

......

3 - 0,3 = 2,7 (or just 3, either way; there's no way to reach 'rock bottom')

Reddit, what was the meanest thing you have ever done to someone? by TheMalecin AskReddit

[–]Wolfszeit 3 points4 points ago

People I knew who had a dead mother never really said "My mom's dead" as a response to a your mom joke. They usually just went quiet.

Which is very awkward in itself
