How does it take away from his greatness that he had good teammates? Every team that wins championships has great players and usually a big rebounder.

Kobe has changed over the last 15 years from a scorer to a scorer/faccilitator hence is MVP a few years ago after Shaq was gone. The reason he puts up so many shots even though everyone knows it's his shot at the end is because he wants the ball and responsibility. He has the killer instinct. Let's not forget his talent in general.

I think it's about the angle you look at any player. He's had a dysfunctional team this year where either they need him to score or need him to facilitate and score. He's won 5 championships. And like I said earlier, Timmy D and others can be argued as the best in the last 15 years but you can't deny that Kobe still kills it.
