Something that I don't think gets put into words often enough is that a good starcraft player should have a repertoire of builds that they are comfortable with. You can get to plat with almost any decent build just based on your skill with the game mechanics (basic macro & micro). You shouldn't worry about what league you're in but rather simply improving your play with regard to all aspects of the game. Once you have a good understanding of the basics of the game, it's time to learn builds.

To learn builds, you have to use the build in at least 100 games before you really understand what's effective about it and what it's weaknesses are. Figure out how each build fares against common builds you might play against (I just had to face a 4 gate attack with a relatively new build for me, and barely survived). This will help you improve the build to be even more bulletproof. Once you have a few builds you feel comfortable with in almost any situation, you can start to try to meld the builds together, keeping the main tech paths and whatnot available until you get some information and can lock into a specific build to fit the situation.

tl;dr play 100 games with several builds to improve your repertoire and learn the game better. more gg, more skill

When this happens to me, I usually do a really sloppy version of Leenock's roach build. Attack the pylon with something just so it looks like you care about it but immediately get a warren and gas and build up larvae when the warren is about to finish. Then you try to come up with like 7-10 roaches as quick as you can plus some lings if you have extra mins/larvae. Then go take his natural. Because fuck him, that's why.

you shouldn't over commit to stalkers. Always get a good army composition. And when you're playing PvZ you're usually going to want to be getting col which will deal with the lings as part of a ball.

I had similar problems at lower levels. I found that a 3 gate stargate will work until plat because zerg doesn't have very good anti air early on. You could try with that.

The only other piece of advice I have is that if they go mutas, just move for their base. either you beat them in a base trade (mutas suck against buildings) or they have to pull away to fight you head on. If they fight you head on, you might be able to beat them straight out because mutas aren't strong vs armies or you can just pull back a little and leave your army in the middle threatening the attack and keeping his mutas at home.

I think that who he was is both irrelevant and impossible to know. I think that almost all information about who he was, if he was, is so mutilated that it cannot even be thought of as necessarily even being based on truth. He is a concept that only exists in how people conceive of him. By that definition of him, I see him as an excuse to do great or horrible things in the name of religion.

I think that you're worrying far too much about what she thinks without having any knowledge of what she might say. In my experience, women will really surprise you sometimes about how they see things. On this train of thought, I wouldn't worry so much about the sex before you get there. If she's gonna dump you for sexual issues like these, she's not worth keeping anyway. I would suggest that you take it where it's going to go, and then if she indicates she's disappointed with something, go about fixing it then. If she's not a cunt, she'll probably be willing to work with you through things. This will also let you focus on just the things that really matter to her. If you're really lucky, you can spin it that you just need "more practice." That's honestly one of my all time favorite plays.
