Scouting is very, very key. Particularly if you are committing heavily to one unit(ie. Marines).

Number 1 way to counter or prevent DTs is to Scout your opponent. Double gas early on, or seeing a twilight council should be red flags, and as a result you should build a few turrets as well as holding enough energy in reserve for 1 scan at least.

If he has them as part of his main army, scan the battle or fall back to your turrets.

The vast improvement of graphics over HL1 in and of itself makes this whole project worth it. I'm sure there are quite a few gamers out there who have never played HL1, and at this point playing the original is a sub-optimal experience.

With HL3 a mystery of galactic proportions, who knows when it will come out. When it does, even more gamers may want to start from the beginning of the series, and Black Mesa:S will make the initial experience all the better.

Also when/if I have kids, this is on the list of games the have to play...or that I shall strongly suggest...
