I think the profile conveys your personality pretty well. You come across as interesting and genuine. The leading picture is just black because the thumbnail is zoomed in on your jacket, so that might keep people from clicking on your profile. Also, rotate the picture 90 degrees clockwise so that it's straight up. I would lead with the second sunglasses picture (which you have in there twice by the way, both of the sunglasses pics are in there twice). Get rid of the second picture, it's not very flattering.

Did this recently, down to the working out for a few months prior to breaking up. It doesn't take too much to get back into it. Just make sure you refrain from texting girls as often as you might have your ex. I had a problem with that with the first girl I started hanging out with. She lost interest. I just stopped talking to her and saw her again last weekend though, and we hit it off again. Other than that, it seemed like riding a bike. Just go talk to girls and focus on having as much fun as possible.

I like to keep non face-to-face interactions to a minimum, so I text very little. Just every couple of days to set up a time to hang out. Has worked well for me, plus I don't waste so much time over-thinking things trying to figure out the perfect witty response to each and every text.

Alright man, I'm not really a pick-up guy, so I'm not really sure what the goals of each of the elements of these interactions were. But I go out a lot and know how to talk to girls, so I'll try and give you an outsider's perspective.

The girl motioned for this guy to come over and save her from you. I have been this guy for my female friends and girls that I could just tell weren't enjoying the guy they were dancing with. It's happened many, many times, and usually all it takes is some eye contact (the "help" look). I actually hooked up with some random girls thanks to this. The reason they are dancing so close even though they are just friends (or maybe they didn't even know each other) is because you somehow creeped her out and they wanted to send you a signal to leave them alone.
You have an attitude problem. First you judge the girl as ugly and are surprised she would dare ask you for a drink, then you get jealous of the dude instead of trying to figure out what he's doing better than you. It's not magic, that guy was more attractive to the girl than you in some way. Better looking, more confident, I don't know, but you should try to figure out what happened. You come across over the internet as judgmental and I'm sure this is apparent in real life. Also, it seems like you don't have interesting things to talk about. Talk about things going on in the room or try to find some common interests. Don't talk about her jewelry. What kind of dude cares about jewelry? The gay best friend maybe.
Here I think you're finally onto something with the "only if you give me a dance" line and then you totally screw it up. Why would you think she wouldn't go to the dance floor with you? Just take the picture and motion her to come to the dance floor with a smile. If she renegs on her word, look at her, wag your finger at her and walk away smiling like you don't give a shit. Talk to her later, or don't; have some pride. You do realize you are now sitting next to two girls who are both on their phones and everybody in the bar is looking over and feeling awkward for you.

A few things come to mind:

Water would be un-evenly distributed
Same with fertilizer, compost, etc.
I've seen plenty of farm-land on rolling hills
Creating hills would require soil to be brought in, which would likely be expensive
The cost benefit of that tiny bit of extra space probably is in no way worth it

Also, plants grow straight up. That extra surface space probably doesn't even affect how many plants you can grow.
