Geralf's Messenger with the birthing pod sounds fun, but with his mana cost if you draw him in your hand wouldn't he basically be dead to you until very late game? This was just an odd observation.

I actually forgot that I had something to target him without killing him already. I would have forgot to use Kessig on him until many games later.

I was afraid of cutting the Barter in Blood all together as well. Hexproof will always be a bother for me. I really do wish discard spells were powerful again. If only they could reprint duress again.

Do you think the deck truly needs the Evolving Wilds or should I just go with basic lands instead (since the land comes into play tapped off of it)? Or would they be beneficial in the since that they still thin the deck during play?

I just don't see where I could cram a ratchet bomb in here with enough dependability of pulling it. I went with the 2 Dragonskull Summits because I already own those. I wasn't sure if the deck should run 1 or 2 Kessig Wolf Runs.

The reason they do this is to slightly look upward hiding whatever possible extra chin (neck fat) they have. From this angle the face appears more slim, think MySpace pictures. An ex of mine does this in all of her pictures.

The best mana ramp you can get for black is just Dark Ritual and Cabal Ritual. It's far from the same on what you want, but yeah. Black is simply not green. Bedding pit is an old answer for sacrificing creatures.
